Job summary

Damen Middle East Shared Services is seeking a Junior Accountant in Abu Dhabi to support day-to-day accounting across Damen Middle East entities. You will assist in PO creation, invoice processing, reconciliations, and month-end close while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience; UAE experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and ERP systems; confidential data handling.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and employee expense claims.
• Prepare purchase and sales invoices; assist PO creation.
• Support month-end closing; journal entries, accruals and prepayments.
• Assist with group reporting and VAT/compliance tasks.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors; maintain audit trails.
