Job summary

AquaNav in Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support daily accounting tasks, prepare financial statements, maintain records, and assist with audits in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, at least two years of experience, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail; knowledge of taxation is a plus. English proficiency is not required for this job.

We are in need of a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi As a Junior Accountant you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks such as preparing financial statements maintaining records and conducting audits You will also be expected to have basic knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing account information
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of accounts
• Process invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation
• Communicate effectively with team members to resolve any discrepancies or issues

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of taxation laws is a plus
