Junior Accountant

Location: Sharjah

Reports to: Finance Manager

Salary:3000 AED+Accommodation +Medical

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to assist in managing daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the finance department in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledgers.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and monthly reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other accounting documents.
  • Support payroll preparation and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Assist in tracking accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Help with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Maintain proper filing of accounting records and documents.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or SAP).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time role, office-based.
  • Standard working hours with occasional overtime during reporting periods.
