Job description

• Conduct detailed variance analysis, identifying trends and discrepancies, and presenting actionable recommendations to management for improved financial performance.
• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time to maintain operational efficiency.
• Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations to mitigate financial risks.
• Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and insights to facilitate a smooth review.
• Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to streamline financial processes, improve reporting accuracy, and enhance data analysis capabilities.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3–5 years of accounting experience within the real estate development sector
• Proficiency in Salesforce and NetSuite accounting systems
• Strong knowledge of TAS
• Experience dealing with the Dubai Land Department and related regulatory requirements
• Comprehensive understanding of UAE VAT and local compliance practices
• Immediate or short notice availability preferred
