Junior Accountant

We are currently seeking a dynamic Junior Accountant to join our reception team at DREAM Dubai.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including ledger reconciliations.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of financial records, reports, and documentation.
• Help manage daily sales data from all outlets and ensure accurate recording.
• Coordinate with outlet managers to resolve discrepancies in sales or reports.
• Maintain records of all sales invoices and credit transactions, including delivery portals and card payments.
• Prepare and update aging reports for credit clients and assist in follow-ups for collections.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, schedules, and statements.
• Assist in analyzing basic financial data such as P&L, cost, and sales reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
• Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits.
• Assist in identifying and reporting process inefficiencies and risks.
• Help maintain effective communication with suppliers and internal departments.
• Participate in internal audit visits to outlets and support audit tasks.
• Respond to finance-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform any other accounting duties as assigned by senior finance staff.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial systems.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
