Job Summary:

The Junior Accountant is responsible for supporting the accounting team with day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in the general ledger.

  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification and vendor/customer communication.

  • Assist in bank reconciliations and petty cash management.

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings by preparing journal entries and financial reports.

  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal reviews.

  • Assist in preparing VAT filings and other statutory requirements.

  • Handle data entry and maintain up-to-date financial records.

  • Reconcile balance sheets and help track company expenditures.

  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 1 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role (internship experience can be considered).

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
