ADEKA AL OTAIBA MIDDLE EAST is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a dynamic and international business environment. The Junior Accountant will support the Finance team in maintaining accurate financial records by performing routine accounting tasks such as calculating, posting, and verifying data. The role involves assisting in audits, preparing reports, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in reviewing and verifying expenses.
  • Issue customer invoices and manage invoicing records.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly financial reports.
  • Support senior accountants with monthly and yearly closings.
  • Contribute to audits and inventory coordination.
  • Handle cheque releases and related documentation.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accounting files and records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and corporate finance.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
