This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Engineer Process Safety with a proven track record in understanding of the complexities involved in large-scale Gas Processing projects to meet objectives for a high-profile client.

Expected:

  • Bachelor s degree in chemical engineering or equivalent from an accredited university
  • Strong interest or academic background in process safety and risk management.
  • Familiarity with oil and gas process operations and safety standards (e.g., API, OSHA, ISO, NFPA) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
  • Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Support the execution of risk analysis methodologies such as HAZOP, HAZID, and LOPA to identify potential hazards and assess the safety integrity of systems.
  • Process Safety Documentation Contribute to the preparation, review, and upkeep of process safety documents, including safety cases, risk registers, and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) assessments.
  • Compliance and Standards Assist in ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations (API, OSHA, ISO, ADNOC codes, etc.) related to process safety and loss prevention.
