Job summary

GINCO Cont. Co. LLC in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an MEP Quantity Surveyor – Pre Contract to prepare accurate take-offs from tender drawings and specs, and assist in cost estimates.

The role requires hands-on PlanSwift experience, understanding of MEP systems and tender documents, and strong analytical and organizational skills; immediate joiners preferred.

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is mandatory and UAE experience is required.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills for cost estimation and bid prep.
• Excellent communication and organization to manage documents and team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate MEP quantity take-offs from tender drawings and specifications.
• Perform quantity measurements using PlanSwift software.
• Assist in the preparation of BOQs and tender submissions.
• Review tender documents, drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate with Estimation and Engineering teams during bid preparation.
• Maintain records of estimates, quantity calculations and tender documents.

Prepare accurate MEP Quantity Take-Offs from tender drawings and specifications Perform quantity measurements using PlanSwift software Assist in the preparation of BOQs cost estimates and tender submissions Review tender documents drawings and project specifications Coordinate with the Estimation and Engineering teams during bid preparation Ensure accuracy and timely completion of quantity take-offs Maintain proper records of estimates quantity calculations and tender documents Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)

• Minimum 1 year of UAE experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor – Pre Contract (Mandatory)
• Hands-on experience in Quantity Take-Off using PlanSwift software (Mandatory)
• Good understanding of MEP systems, construction drawings, and tender documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Immediate joiners will have an added advantage.
