Qualifications

We are an MEP Contracting Company looking for Jr. MEP Planning Engineer

Job Functions:

  • Assist in preparing project schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and detailed timelines using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Support in updating project progress, monitoring work against the baseline schedule, and highlighting delays or risks.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, procurement, and design teams to collect inputs for schedule updates.
  • Assist in preparing weekly and monthly progress reports, manpower histograms, and look-ahead plans.
  • Analyze productivity and resource allocation for mechanical and electrical activities.
  • Help maintain logs for submittals, RFIs, materials, and approvals related to MEP systems.
  • Attend planning meetings and take notes on project status, critical activities, and next steps.
  • Ensure planning documentation is up to date and well-organized for audits and project reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
  • 1–2 years of experience in project planning, preferably in MEP/Electromechanical contracting.
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.
  • Basic understanding of MEP systems, construction methods, and project cycles.
  • Ability to read and understand MEP drawings and project specifications.
