Job Description
1. Design Support
- Assist senior engineers in the design and development of electrical systems and components for electromechanical products.
- Create schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams using CAD software under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input to optimize electrical designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
2. Testing and Validation
- Support the testing and validation of electrical systems through hands‑on testing, data collection, and analysis.
- Assist in setting up test environments and equipment, conducting tests according to established procedures, and documenting test results.
- Work with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve any issues identified during testing, contributing to the continuous improvement of designs.
3. Documentation and Compliance
- Assist in preparing documentation for regulatory compliance, including specifications, test reports, and technical documentation.
- Ensure that electrical designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as CE, UL, and FCC.
4. Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and technicians, to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and software components.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
5. Learning and Development
- Continuously learn and expand technical skills through on‑the‑job training, mentorship, and self‑study.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in electrical engineering, contributing fresh ideas and insights to the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Hands‑on experience with CAD software for electrical design.
- Basic understanding of electrical principles, circuit design, and PCB layout.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
