Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure the effective translation of functional strategies into actionable operating plans, aligning vertically within the organization and horizontally across departments.
2. Lead the department to achieve assigned objectives by setting clear individual goals, monitoring performance, and developing and motivating team members.
3. Serve as a role model and promote adherence to organizational values and ethics, fostering a culture driven by integrity and accountability.
4. Define and design disaster recovery and business continuity plans in compliance with relevant government and regulatory standards.
5. Collaborate with leadership to establish a comprehensive business continuity framework.
6. Lead the selection, development, and consistent application of business continuity management (BCM) methodologies, tools, and techniques.
7. Provide expert guidance in continuity planning, event management, and the development of BCM policies, standards, and guidelines.
8. Maintain regular communication with business units to stay informed of internal changes and ensure continuity solutions are up to date.
9. Implement an effective incident communication and assessment process to ensure proper handling and documentation of incidents.
10. Maintain structured procedures to ensure critical processes and systems operate at acceptable minimum levels.
