Job summary

Alpago in Dubai seeks a Senior Joinery Production Supervisor to plan, supervise and control day-to-day joinery manufacturing activities. You will ensure schedules, quality, cost targets, and optimal utilization of manpower, machinery and materials while coordinating with Production Manager and shop-floor teams.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Wood Technology, or related field, with 15 years in joinery/furniture production and 5–8 years in supervision;

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in joinery/furniture production.
• At least 5–8 years in a supervisory or in-charge capacity.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical specs.
• Experience in UAE manufacturing/fit-out environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize daily/weekly production schedules across joinery sub-departments.
• Monitor progress and report delays or constraints to the Production Manager.
• Allocate manpower and materials to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Supervise line supervisors and carpenters per drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with QC for inspections and nonconformances.
• Ensure adherence to 5S health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Maintain production data, DPRs, and performance reports.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce cycle time and waste.
