Job description

Looking for a Joinery Manager with a leading company in UAE.

Responsibilities:

  1. Planning, scheduling, estimation, mobilization and overall supervision of progress in the joinery division.
  2. Attend project meetings with clients and contractors to ensure efficient activity execution at site and factory.
  3. Oversee factory compliance with safety requirements and hygiene for workers, machines & premises.
  4. Improve productivity in the production process by providing training and implementing new methods & techniques (Work study, Method study, Work measurement, etc.).
  5. Lead weekly and monthly meetings for production, projects, estimation & quality control and ensure appropriate actions are taken based on the outcomes.
  6. Assist in the preparation of annual and monthly business plans; obtain approvals prior to implementation.
  7. Provide sales support including client calls, site surveys, estimations, presentations, negotiations, and contract finalization within the gross margin band authorized by the Managing Director.
  8. Prepare and submit MIS reports on a weekly and monthly basis for all operations of the joinery business as required by the directors.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience in the Joinery division.
  2. Experience in handling retail projects.
  3. Knowledge in MEP works.
  4. Willingness to travel between Dubai and Sharjah.
