Job summary

MFIT Interiors in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, is urgently hiring a Joinery Draughtsman to prepare detailed shop and production drawings for joinery projects. The role requires 2–4 years of UAE experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and related joinery design software, with a relevant diploma or degree.

You will develop precise 2D and 3D drawings for furniture and cabinetry, incorporate client/consultant feedback, and ensure compliance with project standards and timelines.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years UAE experience in joinery drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant joinery design software.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and production drawings for joinery works.
• Review production drawings, design concepts, and project specifications.
• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings for furniture, cabinetry, wardrobes, doors, and other joinery items.
• Incorporate client and consultant comments and revise drawings accordingly.
• Ensure drawings comply with project requirements and technical standards.
• Identify and resolve technical discrepancies in drawings.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings according to project schedules.
