• Interpret design sketches and convert them into accurate patterns for women’s formal dresses
• Develop first patterns manually or digitally (if applicable), ensuring precision and balance
• Work closely with the designer to develop new styles and ensure desired fit and silhouette
• Cut fabric as per patterns, with attention to grain lines, fabric types, and finishing
• Make pattern adjustments based on fittings and feedback
• Maintain consistency in sizing and grading as needed for production
• Collaborate with the tailoring team to ensure smooth sample and production flow
• Ensure quality control of fit, structure, and construction

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a pattern master/cutter, specifically in women’s formal or designer wear
• Expertise in pattern drafting, draping, and cutting for structured and flowy garments
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric behavior, and finishing techniques
• Ability to create patterns from both sketches and measurements
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality production standards
• Experience with made-to-measure garments is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently with tailors and production staff
