Responsibilities

• Maintain sterilisation and hygiene of feeding equipment and baby-care items.
• Assist the mother with postnatal care and newborn guidance within professional limits.
• Recognise illness signs and coordinate with healthcare professionals as needed.
• Maintain accurate care records and infant safety practices.
• Work collaboratively with the family and household staff while maintaining confidentiality.

About the Role

An UHNW private family in Dubai is seeking a qualified and experienced Private Nurse with a strong background in maternity and newborn care. Candidates with midwifery experience are highly preferred.

The successful candidate will provide professional, attentive and discreet care, ensuring the newborn’s health, comfort, safety and well-being while supporting the mother during the postnatal period.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for the newborn, ensuring comfort, hygiene and safety.
• Monitor feeding, sleeping patterns and general well-being.
• Support breastfeeding, bottle feeding and appropriate feeding routines.
• Maintain proper sterilisation and hygiene of feeding equipment and baby-care essentials.
• Support the mother with postnatal care and newborn-care guidance within professional qualifications.
• Recognise signs of illness or distress and coordinate with healthcare professionals when required.
• Maintain accurate care records and follow appropriate infant-safety practices.
• Work collaboratively with the family and household staff while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Candidate Requirements

• Filipino nationality preferred.
• Recognised nursing qualification and relevant professional registration or licence, as applicable.
• Proven experience in newborn care, maternity nursing or postnatal care.
• Midwifery qualifications and experience are highly desirable.
• Experience caring for newborns from birth onwards.
• Strong knowledge of infant feeding, hygiene and safe-sleep practices.
• Valid infant CPR and first-aid certification preferred.
• Professional, compassionate, discreet and trustworthy.
• Previous private household or UHNW family experience is an advantage.
