Job summary

IC Markets Global is seeking a Technical Team Lead - Java to steer a high-performance backend engineering team. You will deliver scalable microservices, API integrations, and low-latency trading components in a fintech environment.

The role requires hands-on leadership, architecture vision, and collaboration with Product, QA, DevOps, and Trading teams to ensure delivery quality and reliability across cloud-based platforms in Dubai.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience with Java in fintech or trading environments.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, API design, and distributed systems.
• Experience in low-latency, high-availability architectures and cloud delivery.
• Proven leadership of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Java backend developers and set delivery priorities.
• Own day-to-day execution, progress tracking, and technical output.
• Oversee system design, code reviews, and adherence to engineering standards.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Trading teams to align requirements.
• Drive performance, reliability, and operational excellence initiatives.
