Hantec Markets in Dubai seeks a Java Backend Developer to design, build and maintain REST APIs and microservices. You will work on asynchronous processing, database development, cloud services, and CI/CD delivery.

You will use Java 21, Spring Boot, Vert.x, MySQL with Amazon RDS, Docker, AWS and GCP, and collaborate across engineering teams to ensure scalable, well-documented services. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Competenze

• 4-7 years of experience in Java backend development or similar software engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 21, Spring Boot, REST APIs and microservices
• Knowledge of Vert.x and asynchronous programming
• Experience with MySQL, database design and Amazon RDS
• Cloud experience with AWS and GCP
• Docker and CI/CD pipelines experience
• Git, GitLab and Jira in development environments
• Swagger/OpenAPI for API documentation
• Troubleshooting and debugging skills; able to resolve production issues
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with teams

Mansioni

• Design, develop and maintain backend services using Java 21, Spring Boot and Vert.x
• Build, maintain and integrate REST APIs, ensure scalability, reliability and Swagger/OpenAPI documentation
• Develop asynchronous workflows and integrate backend with internal/external systems
• Design, develop and optimise MySQL databases, including deployments with Amazon RDS
• Package and containerise applications using Docker
• Support automated build, testing and deployment via CI/CD pipelines
• Use Git and GitLab for version control and collaboration
• Work with Jira to manage tasks and delivery
• Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot backend services across AWS and GCP
• Investigate and resolve production issues and improve reliability
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to deliver backend solutions
