Job summary

Biz4d is seeking a Java Backend Developer to build and operate a modern SaaS total cost management platform for airlines. You will work within a multidisciplinary team including PMs, designers, frontend and backend developers, DevOps, and QA engineers.

Responsibilities include designing and developing backend architectures, and maintaining distributed microservices using Java, Spring, Hibernate, and modern DevOps practices. Remote work from Germany is supported.

Qualifications

• Solid programming experience in Java SE 8+.
• Work experience with Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate).
• Good knowledge and practical experience applying DDD.
• Good knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, test automation.
• Familiar with CQRS and Event Sourcing design patterns (Axon framework a plus).
• Familiar with Maven, Git, Docker containers, Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with agile development processes.

The Java Backend position is a key in our SaaS (Software as a Service) service as we look to build our next-generation platform.

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer with experience in working with distributed systems based on microservices. You will work within a multidisciplinary team composed of product managers, designers, frontend and backend developers, DevOps engineers, and QA engineers.

Your profile:

• Solid programming experience in Java SE 8+
• Work experience with Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate)
