Job summary

Atribs Metscon Group in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a seasoned backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java/Spring Boot microservices. You will build secure banking APIs, deploy on Azure, and collaborate across squads to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.

Responsibilities include API security, OAuth 2.0, and fault-tolerant designs, with a focus on performance, observability, and release readiness. English required; Arabic preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend development with 3+ years Spring Boot microservices.
• Experience delivering enterprise banking/fintech solutions.
• Strong banking integration and API gateway knowledge.
• Regulated environment experience with security/audit compliance.
• CI/CD, DevSecOps, cloud-native development, containerized deployments.
• Messaging technologies: Kafka, IBM MQ, RabbitMQ.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices.
• Build secure, scalable banking apps supporting digital channels.
• Develop RESTful APIs and API lifecycle management.
• Deploy and support on Azure with AKS and cloud-native services.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps, security, and product squads.
• Implement OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, API security, and secure coding.
• Troubleshoot, optimize performance, and support releases.
