Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island in the UAE seeks a Sommelier - Italian & Seafood to join the resort’s Beverage team. The role emphasizes wine knowledge, guest engagement, and presenting Italian wine selections within a luxury dining setting.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, presenting the wine list, inventory control, and training staff in wine service and presentation. Fluency in English is required; WSET Level 2 or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of wine service in fine-dining or luxury hospitality.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Basic sommelier certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and communicate needs to staff.
• Demonstrate mastery of wine list, beer list, and cocktails.
• Lead wine service training and classes for staff.
• Manage inventory, including wine and bar supplies, with proper storage.
• Maintain hygienic and safe beverage service standards.
