IT Systems Administrator

Job Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive understanding of network architecture and client/server technology.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server/Desktop OS environments.
• Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and resolution.
• Coordinating with IT vendors for support activities & projects.
• Knowledge of O365 & Azure.
• Attending calls from retail stores and back office, resolving minor problems via phone or remote support and coordinating with the application team to resolve issues within the defined SLA.
• Support, monitor, maintain/replace, and enhance the existing attendance system to accurately capture attendance and report into the central attendance system, including coordination of development of interface from attendance system to HRMS.
• Support, maintain, monitor, and enhance the existing CCTV system including recording across the organization for safety and security purposes.
• Support, monitor, maintain, and enhance the existing WAN/LAN, connectivity, Firewall, Servers, Operating Systems, Anti-virus updates, definitions, and databases.
• Support end-user computing devices including desktops, laptops, printers, handheld devices, etc., and related operating systems and applications including Avaya.
• Ensure compliance and adherence across the organization for IT Policies and IT security.
• Conduct periodic quality checks and encourage feedback from business operations to ascertain the successful functioning of business systems.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports with recommendations and suggestions to improve the existing systems by keeping abreast of user issues and highlighting key issues to the development team/application/support vendor for requisite enhancements.
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Good communication skills.

Computer Skills:

• Windows Server/Desktop OS, Firewall, POS, CCTV, Backup Solution.
• Experience in MS Office 365.
• Experience in MS Server 2016/2012.
• Experience in maintenance, support, installation of Active Directory (cloud & on-premise) including Azure.
• Experience in NAS.
• Experience in Anti-virus setup and configuration.
• Knowledge of firewall setup and policy definitions.
• Experience in network topology and setups.
• Experience in support, maintenance of end-user computing devices.
