Job Description:

IT Support Technician (UAE National)

Location: Dubai

Parsons is seeking a talented IT Support Technician to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Provide first-level analytical and IT technical support remotely to end users of Parsons' computers, workstations, software, and hardware.
  • Answer end user IT questions and troubleshoot standard IT issues via telephone, email, or Instant Messenger.
  • Identify, categorize, and resolve or escalate end user issues and problems.
  • Research and develop solutions for software and hardware issues.
  • Maintain knowledge of the MIS environment and related technologies.
  • Follow Parsons policies and procedures in responding to support requests.
  • Document and report all service requests and outcomes.
  • Provide on-call support for non-business hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or Computer Engineering.
  • 0-1 years of experience supporting end users or in an MIS environment; fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Microsoft or Cisco training certifications.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft OS, applications, and PC hardware and peripherals.
  • Familiarity with MIS environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve common technical issues.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
