Designation: IT Support Staff

Job Purpose:

IT Support is responsible for providing maintenance and support regarding the IT needs of the royal family inside their home.

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for performing regular check-ups or inspections in networking devices, AV infrastructure, and other IT/AV related peripherals.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting on hardware/software issues.
• Ensure printer management configuration and other scanning devices.
• Set up Apple devices (Laptop, iPad, Mobile phones & Apple TV) and AV systems including other peripherals.
• Perform backup & restoration of iOS platform devices if required.
• Set up projectors and sound systems as per request. Set up gaming devices for the kids for their personal use & events.
• Installation & updating of application software as required with management approval.
• Set up the operating system (Windows XP, 7, 8, 10, 11 & MAC OSX).
• Assist in actual events for technicalities and sometimes printing/laminating/labelling.
• Perform any other related duties as required and asked by the reporting manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field.
• 2-5 years experience as an IT support specialist.
• In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
• Ability to determine IT needs and train end-users.
• Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
• Advanced knowledge of database maintenance and system security.
• Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in IT support.
• English, Arabic, and/or Korean language proficiency is highly preferred but is not a requirement.
