Our client, a chemical supplier in the UAE, is currently seeking an experienced IT Support Executive to join their team. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Hardware & Infrastructure Support
- Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, servers, cameras, access control devices, and Wi-Fi access points.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance to ensure proper functioning of all IT hardware.
- Provide first-level support and troubleshooting for hardware-related issues.
Microsoft 365 & Cloud Services Administration- Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions in Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
- Support email and collaboration tools including Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint Online.
- Handle onboarding laptop setups, including imaging, application installations, and account configurations.
Network & Connectivity- Monitor and support internet and internal network connectivity.
- Coordinate with service providers such as Du or Etisalat for telecom and internet services, including installation, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
IT Helpdesk & Support Operations- Act as the first point of contact for IT issues within the Dubai office.
- Log, track, and resolve incidents and service requests using ManageEngine ticketing system.
- Provide remote support for offsite employees and escalate issues as needed.
Asset & Documentation Management- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT hardware and software.
- Document system configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
- Ensure all IT equipment is tagged and records are regularly updated.
General IT Operations- Ensure secure disposal and data wiping of retired IT equipment.
- Maintain physical security of IT infrastructure, such as server room access.
- Train staff on basic IT procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of IT support experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with hardware (laptops, printers, access devices, etc.).
- Proficiency in Office 365 administration, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Experience with ManageEngine or similar ITSM tools.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
