IT Support Engineer to join our Dubai office, responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting IT issues, and maintaining network and system performance. This role is ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering reliable IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripherals.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, routers, and backup systems.
- Respond promptly to IT support requests and ensure timely resolution.
- Assist with setting up new user accounts, email configurations, and access permissions.
- Maintain IT documentation, including troubleshooting guides and incident logs.
- Support IT security measures, updates, and regular system checks.
- Collaborate with vendors and external providers for system upgrades and repairs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or in a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and networking.
- Familiarity with IT security practices and data backup systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple IT tasks efficiently.
