Zahr Freighters, a trusted name in the logistics and freight forwarding industry, is seeking a skilled and service-oriented IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth functioning of our IT infrastructure and supporting employees with technical solutions to maintain business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and network equipment.
  • Respond to support tickets, troubleshoot problems, and resolve IT-related incidents promptly.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure the security of IT assets and data.
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates on all systems and applications.
  • Assist with setting up user accounts, email configurations, and access permissions.
  • Maintain documentation of IT systems, procedures, and user manuals.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for specialized technical support or equipment repairs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, and basic server administration.
  • Familiarity with office productivity tools and remote support applications.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
