As an IT Support specialist, you will be the go-to person for all technical issues and inquiries within the company. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users effectively.
- Provide timely and efficient technical support to team members and clients.
- Install, configure, and update computer applications and operating systems regularly.
- Maintain detailed documentation of technical support activities and resolutions.
- Ensure the security and privacy of networks and computer systems at all times.
- Monitor and manage IT infrastructure to maintain consistent and reliable performance.
- Assist in the setup and deployment of new hardware and software as required.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve complex technology issues.
- Provide training and guidance to users on software applications and systems.
- Support the administration and management of network devices and user accounts.
- Participate in IT projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Assist in developing and implementing IT policies and best practice guides.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an IT support role or equivalent tech support functions.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues swiftly and efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users.
- Familiarity with networking, security, and operating system installations.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
