IT Support role in Abu Dhabi

Key Accountabilities:

1. Perform regular checkups or inspections on networking devices, AV infrastructure, and other IT/AV related peripherals.
2. Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting on hardware/software issues.
3. Ensure printer management configuration and other scanning devices.
4. Set up Apple devices (Laptop, iPad, Mobile phones & Apple TV) and AV systems including other peripherals.
5. Conduct backup & restoration of iOS platform devices if required.
6. Set up projectors and sound systems as per request.
7. Set up gaming devices for personal use & events for kids.
8. Install & update application software as required with management approval.
9. Set up the operating system (Windows XP, 7, 8, 10, 11 & MAC OSX).
10. Assist in actual events for technicalities and occasionally printing/laminating/labelling.
11. Perform any other related duties as required by the reporting manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar.
2. Minimum of 2 years experience as an IT Support specialist in Apple support, troubleshooting, configuration & data migration.

Skills and Competencies:

1. In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
2. Ability to determine IT needs and train end users.
3. Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
4. Advanced knowledge of database maintenance and system security.
