- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the IT sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Present and demonstrate IT solutions, products, and services to clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Cold calling and generating own leads and clients.
- Conduct needs assessments for clients to provide tailored IT solutions.
- Address customer queries and concerns effectively and promptly.
- Follow up with leads and prospects regularly to convert opportunities into sales.
Market Research
- Stay up to date with the latest IT trends, products, and technologies.
- Analyze competitor products, services, and pricing strategies to ensure the company’s offerings are competitive.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and prospects in CRM software.
- Provide regular updates on sales performance and pipeline status to management.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant data for management review.
- Work with the technical team to ensure product demos and solutions meet customer needs.
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the company’s network.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in IT sales or technology-related sales roles.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of IT products, services, and solutions, including software, hardware, networking, cloud services, etc.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficient in using CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
