We are currently recruiting for an experienced and highly capable IT Project Manager at the Associate level to join the Technology Department, supporting a high-performing North America-focused team within a prestigious and globally recognized financial services organization.
This role requires strong project execution capabilities, technical expertise, and a solid understanding of investment management operations. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Delivery
- Manage the full project lifecycle in accordance with the organization’s project management methodology (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and KPIs in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Track progress, manage dependencies, resolve conflicts, and ensure timely delivery.
Stakeholder & Team Engagement
- Engage and collaborate with senior stakeholders across business and technology teams.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, assigning responsibilities and facilitating coordination.
- Communicate clearly across all levels, providing updates, reports, and strategic insights.
Strategic Project Execution
- Manage a portfolio of technology projects, with a focus on application development, data analytics, infrastructure enhancements, and enterprise systems.
- Contribute to the execution of transformation initiatives that improve internal capabilities and operational performance.
- Identify risks, escalate issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
Budget, Procurement & Compliance
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial planning and approvals.
- Lead procurement processes including RFP / RFQ drafting, vendor evaluation, and contract management.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, data security, legal frameworks, and audit standards.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, meeting minutes, status reports, and lessons learned.
- Deliver executive-level reporting and analytics to support decision-making.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical discipline (mandatory)
- PMP certification (mandatory)
- PMI-ACP or equivalent Agile certification (mandatory)
Experience:
- 10+ years of IT project management experience, ideally in financial services or investment management.
- Strong experience managing both Waterfall and Agile / Scrum projects.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives within strict timelines and budgets.
- Prior exposure to application development, enterprise systems, and data projects is essential.
- Experience working with global teams and navigating time zone or regional coordination challenges.
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence).
- Solid technical grounding in enterprise applications, data platforms, software lifecycle, cloud computing, and IT infrastructure.
- Knowledge of business continuity, disaster recovery, data protection regulations, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Familiarity with budgeting tools and financial tracking in a technology project environment.
