Job description

Project Manager - IT Infrastructure will be responsible for delivering all projects for the Group Technology.

The role spans across the entire project management lifecycle.

Responsibilities include:

1. Project Management Planning and Design
2. Finalizing the Project scope, Cost, and Timelines
3. Identifying Risks and challenges across the program
4. Regular monitoring and reporting
5. Stakeholder management
6. Vendor Management
7. Platform Selection

This role reports to the Portfolio Manager or Program Manager and primarily ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. It requires close coordination with Technology stakeholders, Business Relationship Managers, Architecture and Design teams, and other units within Group Technology.

The role also involves significant interaction with the Business Relationship Management team and other support functions.

The mandate is to ensure the full documentation and implementation of the program and project management lifecycle.

The ideal candidate should have extensive expertise in Technology Infrastructure within the banking industry, strong leadership and team management skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Clear communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to build strong stakeholder partnerships are essential.

Job Description (JD):

• Extensive experience with Infrastructure Transformation programs
• Expertise in Data Centre, Compute, Storage, Virtualization, & IT Networks
• Proven track record managing projects exceeding AED 1 million

These experience requirements are mandatory. Candidates lacking this background are not eligible.

• Strong understanding of Infrastructure Transformation programs
• Proficiency in MS Office, Clarity, Jira, and Confluence
• Experience working in a matrix organization

• Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills
• Strong reporting skills
• Certifications such as PMP are advantageous
