Job summary

Le Chene, in partnership with a leading organisation in the automotive and mobility sector, seeks an IT Procurement Lead on a contract basis in the UAE. You will oversee end-to-end IT procurement, drive cost savings, manage RFPs and vendor contracts, and partner with IT, Finance and Legal to optimise value across hardware, software, cloud and services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in IT procurement.
• Experience with IT vendors, OEMs, and regional supplier landscape.
• Proven experience managing complex procurement cycles and contracts.
• Strong understanding of procurement frameworks (e.g. Kraljic Matrix).
• Commercially strong with a data-driven approach.
• Confident working across IT, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders.
• Experience operating in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT procurement across hardware, software, cloud and services.
• Drive cost savings through strategic sourcing and TCO analysis.
• Lead RFPs, RFQs, bid evaluations and commercial negotiations.
• Manage vendor performance, SLAs and contract lifecycle (AMC/AMS).
• Support IT budgeting, forecasting and procurement analytics.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, audit and security standards.
• Identify vendor consolidation and process improvements.
• Manage procurement KPIs, reporting and dashboards.

This role forms part of a broader transformation programme across digital platforms, systems, and operational capability.

Scope

• End-to-end IT procurement across hardware, software, cloud, and services
• Driving cost savings through strategic sourcing and TCO analysis
• Leading RFPs, RFQs, bid evaluations, and commercial negotiations
• Managing vendor performance, SLAs, and contract lifecycle (AMC/AMS)
• Supporting IT budgeting, forecasting, and procurement analytics
• Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, audit, and security standards
• Identifying vendor consolidation and process improvement opportunities
• Managing procurement KPIs, reporting, and performance dashboards
