IT Procurement Analyst & Admin

Abu Dhabi

The IT Procurement Analyst will be part of the Information Technology team who is responsible for the procurement/Purchase of ICT technology products and services that are purchased efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with IT needs. This role involves managing the procurement process for all ICT Products & Services.

KEY RESULT AREAS

  • Sourcing and Supplier Management: Identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining relationships to ensure the best terms and conditions for the company.
  • Monitoring IT procurement budgets, ensuring spending aligns with organizational goals, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensuring that all IT procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
  • Inventory and Order Management: Tracking inventory levels, managing purchase orders, and coordinating the timely delivery of IT products and services.
  • Market Research and Technology Trends: Staying up to date with emerging technological trends and conducting market research to advise the company on new tools, solutions, and IT innovations.
  • Coordinate and oversee the purchasing process for hardware, software, and IT services.
  • Manage procurement requests from various departments and ensure they are aligned with budget and organizational goals.
  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely processing and delivery of orders.
  • Assist in identifying and evaluating IT vendors/suppliers and researching market trends and technology products to provide recommendations for new purchases or upgrades.
  • Maintain and update vendor records, ensuring that all contracts, agreements, and warranties are accurately documented.
  • Liaise with vendors to resolve any issues related to pricing, delivery, or quality and negotiation process for favorable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor and track IT procurement expenses and ensure purchases remain within budget constraints.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in the procurement process.
  • Maintain accurate records of all IT equipment, software licenses, and other technology assets.
  • Track stock levels and coordinate reordering processes to ensure that inventory remains adequate and up to date.
  • Conduct regular audits of IT assets and assist in managing asset disposal or upgrades.
  • Ensure that all IT procurement activities comply with internal policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to the IT procurement team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, and tracking progress on procurement activities.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree in IT
  • 3+ Years experience in all aspects of IT Procurement, administration and management
  • Strong communication & Interpersonal skills in English
  • Strong team player yet also able to perform well independently
