Job summary

Hyring® is seeking a Senior IT Operations & Functions Engineer (L1/L2 Support) based in Dubai, on-site. The role requires 3+ years of IT operations experience, a relevant degree, and ITIL/Cloud familiarity. You will manage VPNs, ADs, security policies, SaaS apps, and ticketed support for cloud platforms.

The candidate will handle onboarding, asset lifecycle, and compliance activities while triaging issues and providing effective user assistance in a fast-paced IT environment in Dubai.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT Support or IT Operations.
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in IT, CS or related field.
• Certifications preferred: CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL Foundation, or MD-102/AZ-900

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot network issues: LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS/DHCP, and Wi-Fi.
• Manage IT policies, access controls, data security, and compliance docs.
• Administer SaaS apps, user accounts, licenses, and access requests.
• Provide first-level support for Azure, AWS, and GCP user issues.
• Monitor endpoint, storage, and software license usage.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding and IT asset lifecycle.
• Handle tickets, resolve issues, escalate complex cases.

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot network issues involving LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS/DHCP, and Wi-Fi.
• Manage IT policies, access controls, data security, and compliance documentation.
• Administer SaaS applications, user accounts, licenses, and access requests.
• Provide first-level support for Azure, AWS, and GCP user-level issues.
• Monitor endpoint, storage, and software license utilization.
• Manage employee onboarding/offboarding and IT asset lifecycle.
• Handle support tickets, resolve issues, and elevate complex problems when required.

Required Skills:

• L1/L2 IT Support and basic ITIL knowledge.
• Google Workspace, Active Directory, Azure AD, JumpCloud, SSO, and MFA.
• Network troubleshooting: VPN, LAN/WAN, DNS/DHCP, and basic firewall concepts.
• Endpoint management tools such as ManageEngine and JumpCloud.
• CrowdStrike alert triage and SaaS administration.
• Jira Service Desk, Windows 11, macOS, and basic Linux.
• Basic cloud knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in IT Support or IT Operations.
