About the Role

Join one of the UAE’s leading edible oil producers as we digitally transform our operations using SAP ECC6, with a potential move to SAP S/4HANA. We’re seeking an SAP-savvy IT Manager to lead manufacturing systems across refining, packaging, and distribution, with a focus on batch traceability, finance integration, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. SAP Operations Leadership: Oversee SAP modules—PP, MM, QM, PM, SD, Batch Management—integrated with FICO, EH&S, and EWM.
2. Smart Manufacturing: Implement and optimize SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) and IoT solutions for production monitoring.
3. Compliance & Traceability: Ensure ISO 22000/HACCP compliance using SAP QM and maintain end-to-end batch tracking.
4. Master Data Governance: Manage material masters, BOMs, batch records; ensure SAP integration with SCADA, weighbridges, and lab systems.
5. Project Delivery: Lead SAP upgrades, seasonal change cycles, and rollout enhancements.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with plant, supply chain, and finance teams alongside SAP vendors.
7. Cybersecurity Assurance: Maintain controls over sensitive data.
8. User Enablement: Train staff on SAP best practices for daily operations and reporting.

Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
2. 8–10 years in IT, with 3–5 years of SAP experience in FMCG or food manufacturing
3. Proficient in SAP PP-PI, QM, MM, Batch Management, and FICO
4. Experience with SAP Activate, BODS, SCADA, and IoT interfaces
5. Understanding of traceability standards, FIFO/FEFO, and food compliance protocols
6. SAP certification or PMP/ITIL is a plus
