Job title: IT Infrastructure & Support Manager

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Manager to lead the strategy, design, and daily operations of our IT infrastructure and user productivity suite, with emphasis on cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365) and onsite systems. This role oversees infrastructure across our UAE, US, France, and UK offices, managing cloud initiatives, hybrid environments, on-premises networks, and third-party providers. The ideal candidate has strong user centric approach, technical expertise, governance skills, and experience with vendor and team management. He should be able to create and drive the infrastructure roadmap for the group.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud (Azure & Microsoft 365)
- Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure services (IaaS, PaaS) to support business applications and workloads.
- Manage Microsoft 365 tenant administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Intune.
- Ensure security, compliance, and cost optimization across cloud services.
- Plan and execute migrations, hybrid integrations, and continuous improvement of cloud environments.
- Monitor cloud performance, usage, and implement scaling and automation strategies.
Servers & Network Infrastructure
- Administer on‑premises and hybrid Windows Server environments, ensuring availability, patching, and backup.
- Manage core network infrastructure: switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks to guarantee secure and reliable connectivity.
- Monitor and optimize LAN, WAN, and VPN performance and ensure network segmentation and resilience.
- Implement and enforce network security policies, including firewalls and access control.
- Assist in the development and operations of the Cyber Security Roadmap and related capabilities.
User Centricity, Desktop & End‑User Management
- Lead the management of end‑user computing devices (desktops, laptops, mobile devices), ensuring compliance with corporate standards.
- Deploy and manage endpoint security, patch management, and device configurations via Intune or other tools.
- Provide guidance and oversight to the service desk for day‑to‑day support of end‑users.
- Partner with HR teams delivering robust solutions towards enabling efficiency over End-User and their Productivity systems
IT Asset Management
- Maintain an accurate and up‑to‑date inventory of all IT hardware, software, and licenses.
- Oversee the lifecycle management of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
- Implement policies for asset tracking, audits, and compliance reporting.
ITSM & ITOM
- Establish and maintain IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including incident, problem, change, and request management.
- Ensure alignment of ITSM with ITIL best practices and continuous service improvement.
- Implement IT Operations Management (ITOM) practices to optimize and automate infrastructure monitoring, event management, and operational tasks.
- Ensure proactive detection and resolution of issues to maintain service availability and performance.
- Collaborate with business continuity and disaster recovery teams to align IT operations with organizational resilience goals.
Data & Backups
- Ensure regular backups of all critical systems, including servers, databases, user data, and configuration files.
- Implement recovery strategies to restore systems quickly in case of data loss, corruption, or cyberattacks (e.g., ransomware).
- Develop & maintain a comprehensive backup policy
- Integrate backup solutions with existing infrastructure (e.g., SAP systems, file servers, CCTV footage storage).
- Ensure compatibility with virtualization platforms, cloud services, and physical hardware.
- Ensure backups and data protection fall in line with the Incident response management plans and have been thoroughly tested.

Desired Background and Experience
- 5+ years’ experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure (cloud, hybrid, on premises), with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Experience managing endpoints and end user applications.
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, plus strong understanding of onsite networking and systems.
- Solid knowledge of IT operations best practices, Backups, monitoring, and incident management.
- Strong experience with governance, risk management, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Experience managing third party vendors and contracts.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications such as:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- ITIL v4 Foundation
- FinOps Practitioner
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps, and automation tools.
