Job summary

Black Pearl Consult is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Operations Manager to oversee enterprise-wide IT operations in Dubai. Black Pearl is partnering with a well‑established organization in the UAE to recruit an experienced IT Infrastructure & Operations Manager to lead enterprise‑wide IT operations / infrastructure management, cybersecurity governance and service delivery across multiple business locations.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Management

• Lead and manage enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, virtualization platforms, storage, networking systems and endpoint devices.
• Ensure high availability, scalability and performance of all infrastructure services.
• Oversee backup solutions, disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives.
• Manage infrastructure lifecycle planning, upgrades and modernization projects.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively address operational risks.

Network & Connectivity

• Manage enterprise network architecture including LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, VPN, firewalls and connectivity solutions.
• Ensure secure and reliable connectivity across multiple business locations.
• Work closely with telecom providers and technology vendors.

Cybersecurity & Governance

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards and controls.
• Manage vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, security audits and incident response activities.
• Ensure effective identity and access management across systems and networks.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices across the organization.

IT Operations & Service Delivery

• Lead IT operations and support functions.
• Manage incident, problem and change management processes.
• Ensure SLA compliance and continuous improvement of IT services.
• Drive operational excellence through automation, monitoring and process improvements.
• Prepare IT operational reports, dashboards and management presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT operations, network administration, cybersecurity and enterprise IT support.
• Proven experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure projects and multi‑site environments.
• Strong experience within FMCG, manufacturing, distribution, retail or other multi‑location organizations is highly preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with VMware, Hyper‑V or similar virtualization technologies.
• Strong networking experience including Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, VPNs, firewalls and SD‑WAN environments.
• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and operational governance.
• Knowledge of monitoring and endpoint management tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, BigFix, ManageEngine, SCCM, Intune or similar solutions.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
