Job summary

Lödige Industries GmbH is seeking an IT-Engineer to support the IT infrastructure and applications for the MHS project at Abu Dhabi's Zayed International Airport. The role covers pre-commissioning through 24×7 operational support, with emphasis on infrastructure readiness, system installation, testing, commissioning and transition to follow-on support.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in IT infrastructure and application support, including VMware, Windows Server, Oracle, and Linux/RHEL, plus

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering or related field.
3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and application support.
Experience with VMware/virtualization environments, Windows Server, Oracle and Linux/RHEL.
Ability to work effectively in a 24×7 mission-critical environment with strong troubleshooting and incident-management skills.
Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Support IT infrastructure activities during pre-commissioning, commissioning and operational phases of the MHS project and participate in 24×7 shift operations after go-live.
Monitor and maintain Servers, Virtualization, Storage, Backup and Application/Database infrastructure.
Support integration and communication between IT Applications and PLC/automation systems.
Follow defined escalation, change management, cybersecurity and operational procedures.
