IT Field Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Install and configure Aps, Firewall, and digital signage (40-inch display unit) devices, along with mounting Aps, approximately 40 Mtr cable pulling, and maintaining computer systems, printers, and other peripherals.
• Perform software updates and patches as necessary.
• Monitor and maintain network connectivity and resolve connectivity issues.
• Coordinate with remote IT support teams for complex problem resolution.
• Document support activities, equipment inventory, and user instructions.
• Provide remote and on-site support for network-related incidents and outages.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Provide support to the internal team during workload or bulk laptop and computer imaging projects.
• Contribute to the completion of in-house IT projects by supporting the internal IT team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, macOS).
• Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with hardware components and configurations (e.g., servers, routers, switches).
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Security awareness and knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
