Job summary

REAP HR & Recruitment Consultancy is seeking an IT Engineer – UAE National for fresh graduates, based in Abu Dhabi. The role targets Emirati graduates with strong IT fundamentals and a passion for intelligent transportation systems.

You will join an engineering team and work on AFC technology projects, with training and mentoring provided. The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree with good GPA and basic IT knowledge across networks and software concepts.

REAP HR & Recruitment Consultancy is recruiting a motivated and technically capable IT Engineer – UAE National for an exciting opportunity in Abu Dhabi. This position is ideal for a high-potential Emirati fresh graduate with a strong academic foundation in Information Technology or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation, integration, and testing of Automated Fare Collection systems.
• Support AFC devices, ticket validators, ticketing applications, and Central Back Office systems.
• Participate in system testing, integration validation, and technical troubleshooting.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and operational efficiency.
• Support technical troubleshooting, incident investigation, and issue resolution.
• Participate in software testing, debugging, and application support activities.
• Explore potential AI applications in intelligent fare collection and ticketing systems.
• Collaborate with Novvan's technical and engineering teams.
• Support project documentation, testing procedures, and technical reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline.
• Graduates from Khalifa University are highly preferred.
• Good academic performance and GPA.
• Fundamental understanding of IT systems, networking, and software applications.
• Basic familiarity with programming, databases, or software development concepts.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, system integration, or cloud technologies is an advantage.
• Interest in intelligent transportation systems and emerging technologies.
