Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Director to lead and oversee the management of our Oracle systems and associated applications across multiple campuses in Dubai and Sharjah. This senior leadership role will be instrumental in ensuring the stability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of our Oracle enterprise solutions that support core educational and administrative functions. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the overall management, maintenance, and enhancement of Oracle ERP systems and related applications. • Oversee daily operations of Oracle modules including finance, HR, student information systems, and other integrated platforms. • Develop and implement strategies for Oracle system upgrades, patches, and customizations ensuring minimal disruption. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including academic departments, administration, and finance to understand system requirements and deliver solutions. • Manage Oracle system security, user access controls, and compliance with data protection policies. • Liaise with Oracle vendors and external consultants for technical support, troubleshooting, and system optimizations. • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals responsible for Oracle systems and applications. • Ensure system documentation, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity processes are in place and regularly updated. • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage Oracle functionalities to improve operational efficiencies. • Monitor system performance, prepare reports, and present updates to senior leadership.

• Extensive hands-on experience managing Oracle ERP systems in large, complex organizations — preferably in the education sector. • Proven track record in leading Oracle application teams and successfully implementing upgrades, integrations, and custom solutions. • Strong understanding of multiple Oracle modules including Finance, HR, Student Systems, Procurement, etc. • Excellent leadership and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across campuses. • Knowledge of data governance, IT security best practices, and compliance standards. • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; Oracle certifications preferred.
