Job summary

A local IT services provider in Dubai is seeking an experienced IT support specialist to troubleshoot issues, deploy IT hardware, and provide technical training. The ideal candidate should have 4–5 years of experience in IT environments and strong analytical skills. Engaging with users effectively is essential, and continual improvement practices will be highlighted in this role.

Service Description
  • Respond to end-user calls (1st and 2nd level) and troubleshoot problems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Deploy PCs, laptops, network and standalone printers, and other IT client hardware.
  • Upgrade client operating systems and desktop applications.
  • Provide IT technical training to end users as per business needs.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve service and incident requests, including user-reported problems escalated to level 2.
  • Troubleshoot IT client-related problems on hardware, operating systems, and desktop applications.
  • Participate in IT projects for the installation and upgrade of IT business software and engineering applications, following standard procedures.
  • Participate in contingency and disaster recovery testing to maintain service levels and ensure business continuity.
  • Manage and coordinate with contractors and IT vendors for technical support when necessary.
  • Coordinate with associates in HQ, site teams, and other IT groups (network, systems, applications) to identify issues, set priorities, and minimize business impact.
  • Analyze and test new technology products and advise on their suitability to support ADNOC GP business.
  • Develop on-the-job training programs for UAE nationals and work placements assigned to the section.
  • Monitor IT services section activities and ensure alignment with quality objectives and standards.
