IT Coordinator

• Maintain and manage the school's IT infrastructure (hardware, software, networks, servers).
• Provide first-line technical support to staff and students, ensuring timely resolution.
• Support the implementation of educational technology tools and resources.
• Track and manage IT inventory and asset records.
• Assist with software licensing, updates, and version control.
• Support IT security measures and data protection protocols.
• Conduct basic training for staff and students on IT tools and systems.
• Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network/system issues in collaboration with the IT Manager.
• Maintain documentation of IT procedures and systems.
• Support school communication platforms including internet, intranet, and learning tools.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of IT projects as directed.

Department Planning:

In consultation with the IT Manager:

• Contribute to IT development and improvement plans.
• Participate in regular team meetings and reviews.
• Identify personal professional development opportunities in IT.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
• Certifications in Microsoft 365, Azure, or related qualifications are desirable.
• Basic knowledge of networking, hardware, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in educational or similar environments is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Mobile Device Management tools (e.g., Apple School Manager, Jamf) is a plus.
