Forsyth Barnes is seeking an experienced IT project manager in Dubai to lead end-to-end initiatives for finance and banking operations. You will shape technical scope from business needs, oversee vendor delivery, and ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes while maintaining regulatory alignment.

The role requires 5+ years in IT project delivery within finance, strong business analysis, and excellent stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of IT project delivery experience within finance, banking or investment operations.
• Proven track record in business analysis, systems implementation and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party integrations.
• Strong understanding of financial processes such as treasury, fund accounting or trading systems.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to senior executives and governance forums.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent preferred; business analysis certification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead scoping and requirements workshops with investment, treasury and banking stakeholders to define measurable objectives.
• Create comprehensive functional specifications, process maps and acceptance criteria for technical teams.
• Develop project plans with milestones, resource allocation and budget forecasts; monitor progress and controls.
• Manage third-party vendors, contracts and delivery timelines to ensure quality and compliance.
• Coordinate system integrations, data migrations and testing including UAT and cutover activities.
• Identify operational risk and compliance gaps and implement mitigation within project designs.
• Recommend pragmatic technology solutions that improve controls, reporting or operational efficiency.
• Prepare executive reports, risk registers and decision materials for steering committees.
