Job summary

RAKBANK is seeking an UAE National for an IT Audit role to participate in risk-based audits across IT infrastructure, information security, applications, and technology processes. You will assist planning, document findings, and help develop remediation plans while engaging with business and technology teams.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and knowledge of IT controls. Relevant certifications such as CISA/CISM are advantageous in this banking environment.

Qualifications

• UAE National with a bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Strong interest in IT Audit, Technology Risk, Information Security, or Governance.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity principles, and technology controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CGEIT are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Participate in risk-based audits across IT infrastructure, information security, applications, and technology processes.
• Assist in planning and executing audit reviews, including risk assessments and audit documentation.
• Identify control gaps, assess risks, and recommend practical solutions to improve controls and processes.
• Prepare clear and concise audit findings and collaborate with stakeholders to develop remediation plans.
• Monitor the progress of audit recommendations and validate corrective actions.
• Engage with business and technology teams to understand emerging risks and changes within the organization.
• Support continuous monitoring activities, investigations, and special audit projects when required.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of internal audit methodologies and practices.
