Job summary

Commercial Bank of Dubai is seeking an experienced IT Audit professional to independently assess the quality and effectiveness of controls, risk management, and processes across the bank’s IT environment. The role requires leading IT audits and leveraging data analytics to identify risks and improvements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT audit, with banking IT risk experience and solid knowledge of AI and banking regulations, contributing to a robust control framework.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in external or internal IT audit.
• Prior banking experience in IT risk (first or second line) may also be considered.
• Good understanding of banking concepts, products and procedures.
• Good understanding of AI and ideally practical experience in a Banking environment.
• Good knowledge of Banking regulations.

Responsibilities

• Undertake reviews to assess the quality and effectiveness of controls, risk management, systems and procedures.
• Plan and organize reviews in line with the Internal Audit Plan and agree scope and timelines.
• Lead and contribute to IT-specific audits and end-to-end audits.
• Proficient in data analytics across different audits of a Bank.
• Promote best practice and guide management on risk and controls.
