Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure & System Administration
2. Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
3. Monitoring IT systems to assess performance and security needs.
4. Installing necessary updates, patches, and antivirus software.
5. Managing user accounts, email setups, and network permissions.
6. Maintaining biometric attendance, CCTV, and office-factory Wi-Fi setups.
7. Keeping detailed records of IT issues, resolutions, and system.
8. Technical Support:
9. Providing hands-on technical support to end-users for IT-related inquiries or concerns.
10. Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, escalating where necessary.
11. Supporting remote access solutions and ensuring communication tools function reliably.
12. Training employees on using IT equipment and essential software (ERP, email, productivity tools).
13. ERP & Software Management:
14. Managing ERP platforms (Zoho, Epicor, or other systems) for finance, procurement, inventory, and operations teams.
15. Supporting AutoCAD/Orga data/design software setups used by the engineering team.
16. Coordinating upgrades and integration of software systems.
17. Ensuring all software is licensed and up to date.
18. Security & Backup:
19. Implementing cybersecurity practices and monitoring threats.
20. Performing routine data backups and ensuring disaster recovery readiness.
21. Supporting cloud storage solutions (Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.) for team collaboration.
22. Collaboration & Deployment:
23. Working closely with the IT team (if applicable) to deploy or upgrade systems and infrastructure.
24. Supporting tech deployment for new projects and production sites.
25. Providing system support during tendering, estimation, or project costing phases when needed.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

1. Completed a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology or Computer Science.
2. 3-5 years of work experience in IT system administration (experience in manufacturing or construction industry preferred).
3. Familiarity with ERP systems, network management, and software installation processes.
4. Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, batch).
