Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks;
Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols;
Coordinate with offshore/onshore staff through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve technical/network issues;
Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults; replacing parts as required;
Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports;
Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system;
Supporting the roll-out of new applications;
Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management;
Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery;
Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows Client OS and macOS;
Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot desktop applications, like Adobe Acrobat, Skype, Antivirus Software, etc.;
Microsoft Office suite and Office365 configuration and troubleshooting;
Assist in installing, upgrading, support and troubleshoot computers, printers, projectors, IP Cameras, switches, WAPs, UPS, etc.;
Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues;
Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs;
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge in problem-solving desktop hardware and software problems and user-related problems.
Strong knowledge of PC-related Hardware.
Strong knowledge of Printers and network devices.
Strong knowledge of CCTV operating system working.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS including Windows 7, 8, and 10 and Apple macOS.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Skype for Business, Teams, SharePoint and One Drive.
Working knowledge of Backup Solutions.
Working knowledge of Antivirus solutions.
Working knowledge of virtualization solutions Hyper-V.
Working knowledge of Cisco VoIP phones and Android and iOS platforms.
Working knowledge of video conferencing hardware and software.
